Giving
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
- Matthew 6:21
Why we give...
"Give what you have decided in your heart...not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
(2 Corinthians 9:7)
Giving is an act of worship from the heart, and is defined in two main categories:
Tithes
&
Offerings
.
Tithe
(tenth) is the first ten percent of our gross income to our local church.
(Malachi 3:10-11, Proverbs 3:9-10)
Offering
is our giving over and above the Tithe.
(2 Corinthians 9:6-11; Luke 6:38)
Thank you for your faithful and generous partnership with us to bring the New Life of Jesus Christ to a dying world.
